Citrine

or the golden yellow variety of quartz is called Citrine.
The word citrine is derived from the word “citrus” natural
citrine is usually a pale yellow.

Appearance:
The color of citrine varies from pure yellow to
dull yellow, honey or brownish yellow. As amethyst citrine
also have patches or bands of color. It also has a very
good luster. Large pieces of 10 carats or more also found. It is
also given all types of cuts.
Occurrence:
Huge quantity of this quartz is found in Brazil, Spain and Soviet Union.
Value:
Citrine is available in huge quantity and is not an expensive colored gemstone.
